Our History
Westcore Contracting Inc. is a multi-generational, family-owned business with a rich history deeply rooted in the construction industry. Our journey began with Ernie Kramer, the founding patriarch, who embarked on his career in Civil and Oilfield Construction during the 1950s. For nearly six decades, Ernie dedicated his expertise to projects across western Canada. In 2009, Ernie passed away after a valiant battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of knowledge and innovation that would be carried forward by his three sons and countless others.
Dale Kramer, the youngest of Ernie's sons, was fortunate to learn under his father's mentorship, working closely alongside him in engineering and consulting roles throughout the mid-1990s. In 1999, Dale embarked on his independent journey, providing consulting services to Northrock Resources and various small oil and gas companies. With over 30 years of experience under his belt, Dale now serves as the President of Westcore.
Today, the company's core is comprised of Dale and his sons Kyle and Shaun, who infuse the company with youthful energy and enthusiasm. Together, we form a dynamic team that brings an unwavering commitment to safety and a genuine passion for every project.
